Coconut milk is strained from matured coconut flesh. It is naturally free from dairy, soy, or grain, plus it is vegan and good for plant-based eaters. They are available in a range of fat contents; used for variety of cooking and baking application, such as curries, satay sauces, baked or frozen desserts and drinks.
Coconut water comes from young coconut. It is an excellent thirst quencher from its electrolyte composition; containing calcium, sodium, potassium, magnesium and phosphorous. Best served chilled, or mixed in a cocktail. They are available with and without pulp.
